About Members’ Forum

Each year, the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) brings together leading construction professionals from its membership across the globe for a Members’ Forum. This event is where the views and opinions of members are considered, discussed and debated.

About Members' Forum

The forum changes location year on year to ensure we are actively visiting cities and regions around the world to ensure we develop a diverse and representative voice. Over the last couple of years we have taken steps to ensure that our Members’ Forum remains accessible to members across the world, directly from their computers.

During Members’ Forum, we coordinate key membership meetings, workshops and debates where members can come together and focus on the needs of the industry, and the organisation. We also ask for guidance and input from our members to shape the strategic direction of the organisation, offering thoughts and opinions on corporate plans and key developments.

In the past, we have used Members’ Forum to tackle important topics impacting our industry, such as modern slavery, quality, and professionalism.

Members’ Forum is a great way for the CIOB to take the vast wealth of expertise and frontline experience from its membership and apply it to key industry issues. It is also an opportunity for our members to voice their thoughts and opinions to shape the future of the construction sector.
